Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program has operated since 1974 to provide local governments the resources to meet the needs of persons of low and moderate-incomes. The City of Sierra Madre partners with the Los Angeles County Development Authority for the disbursement of CDBG funds.

Minor Home Rehabilitation Program (MHRP)

The Minor Home Rehabilitation Program (MHRP), is offering eligible low-and moderate-income senior households a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for minor home-rehabilitation projects that promote aging in place. The work includes but is not limited to wheelchair ramps, handrails, grab bars, tub conversions to roll-in showers, roof repairs, window replacement, and plumbing repairs.
