Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program has operated since 1974 to provide local governments the resources to meet the needs of persons of low and moderate-incomes. The City of Sierra Madre partners with the Los Angeles County Development Authority for the disbursement of CDBG funds.

Senior Minor Home Rehabilitation Program (MHRP)

The objective of the Senior Minor Home Rehabilitation Program (MHRP) is to provide grants to eligible low-and moderate-income senior households for minor home-rehabilitation projects to make mobility easier and promote aging in place. Projects may include, but are not limited to: wheelchair ramps, handrails, grab bars, tub conversions to roll-in showers, roof repairs, window replacement, and plumbing repairs. Completed Program Interest/Pre-Qualification forms can be emailed to [email protected] or be returned to the Planning and Community Preservation Department at City Hall, Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.
