Select Sierra Madre parks can be reserved by private organizations or community groups. Any group can tentatively reserve online at the City of Sierra Madre's Community Services Department Online Registration system at www.cityofsierramadre.com/onlineregistration. Reservations can also be made at the Community Services Department and Hart Park House. All Sierra Madre parks are open to the public 6:00am – 10:00pm except Bailey Canyon, which is open from dawn to dusk.

Bailey Canyon Wilderness Park, 451 W. Carter Avenue, Sierra Madre, CA 91024
The Bailey Canyon Wilderness Park provides access to the Canyon View nature trail and Live Oak self-guided nature trail. From the Canyon View trail, hikers can access a small seasonal waterfall or Jones Peak. Park Amenities: Picnic areas, hiking trails, native botanical area, handicap accessibility & parking, trail marker signage, fire ring, interpretive display, grills and outdoor restrooms.

Memorial Park, 222 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024
Memorial Park is home to the summer Concerts in the Park series and many special events. A wide variety of amenities provide park patrons of all ages an opportunities for play. The covered picnic tables, band shell and south lawn are available for reservation. All facilities are available on a first come, first serve basis unless it has been reserved. Park Amenities: Hart Park House, playground, weeping wall, outdoor restrooms, picnic areas, covered pavilion, band shell, tennis courts, community gardens, grills, and Veteran's Memorial Wall.

Sierra Madre's first pocket park opened in April 2008. The park features drought tolerant and native California plants. Park Amenities: sand play area, desert willow hut structure, stone benches, California native plants, and dry stream bed.

Mount Wilson Trail Park, 189 E. Mira Monte Avenue, Sierra Madre, CA 91024
Mount Wilson Trail Park, commonly known as “Turtle Park” by residents, is home to Lizzie’s Trail Inn and the Richardson House museums. Park Amenities: playground equipment, picnic tables, open grass areas, and the City's beloved turtle.

A trail leading to Mt. Wilson Interpretive Observatory, the trail is the site of the second oldest trail race in California. Intermediate destinations are First Water and Orchard Camp.

Sierra Vista Park, 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024
Sierra Vista Park is home to the Sierra Madre Aquatic Center, Heasley and Dapper fields and the large and small dog parks. The covered picnic area, east and west lawns are available for reservation. Park Amenities: Youth Activity Center (YAC), Aquatic Center, covered pavilion picnic areas, playground, tennis courts, volleyball court, basketball court, Heasley Field, Dapper Field, Dog Parks, outdoor restrooms, and Sierra Madre Rose Float Barn.
