Command Post:

1. Area Map listing target location and officer's locations
2. Make sure perimeter is established
3. White board for suspect description /information (photo)
4. Identify a safe area of approach for responding officers
5. Personnel on scene. Begin log.
6. Fire department staging area (if needed)
7. Start log listing observations, officer deployments etc.
8. Radio communications. Consider mutual aid frequency if called upon
   "Mutual Aid5" For Area C
   GPD AXS for LAPD/LASO
9. Assign intelligence officer (background of suspect, locations etc)
10. Assign traffic officer if road closures are necessary
11. Consider evacuating neighboring properties
12. Designate area for evacuees
13. Notify PIO, designate area for press to set up (control press)
14. Have detectives begin working on search warrant if barricade
15. Get schematics for location (engineer, zillow, pictometry, google. Etc)
16. Start gas plan if swat is going to be needed
17. Downlink system to view air supports view
18. Consider break schedule for officers on scene. Time on scene, food, water etc.
